I had severe back pain and my doctor prescribed me oxycodone. I've been taking it for several months already. At first I was just depending on it to relieve my back pain. But after a while I started to become addicted to it. I was taking it even when I wasn't in pain. I want to stop my addiction before it becomes worse. Can you please recommend me a good alternative to oxycodone and other narcotics?

Have you tried asking your doctor? I've read about Neurocet. It's a non-narcotic pain reliever. However, I haven't personally tried it so I can't say anything about it's effects.
